چکیده
Abstract Background To make the right treatment decisions about colorectal cancer (CRC) patients reliable predictive and prognostic data are needed. However, in many cases this is not enough. Some studies suggest that LRIG1 gene ( leucine-rich repeats immunoglobulin-like domains1 ) has implications different kinds of cancers. Methods One hundred two with were retrospectively analyzed for expression at both mRNA protein levels. SYBR Green Real-Time RT-PCR technique was used analyses Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase GAPDH considered as a reference normalization. using Immunohistochemistry. Additionally, appropriate statistic to assess test control groups. The significance univariate multivariate analyses. Results revealed levels down regulated tumor tissues P < 0.01) but clinically relevant indicator CRC. Conclusions Therefore, it suggested may be an important issue when making informed individualized clinical regarding management patients.

pathology and prognosis of colorectal cancer
abstract: introduction: colorectal cancer (crc) is one of the most common cancers in the world. during the past decades, survival of colorectal cancer patients has improved worldwide, however, it is not clear what factors have contributed to this development. this study was designed to evaluate the prognostic impact of a wide spectrum of pathologic parameters on survival rate in patients with...
متن کاملExpression of LRIG1 is Associated With Good Prognosis for Human Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Somatic mutations, which are associated with a certain rate of response to targeted therapies, are ubiquitously found in human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, it is largely unknown which group of patients may benefit from the respective treatments targeting different somatic mutations. Therefore, more effective prognostic and predictive markers are desperately needed for the treatm...
متن کاملHigh FOXRED1 expression predicted good prognosis of colorectal cancer.
The human FAD-dependent oxidoreductase domain containing 1 (FOXRED1) protein is reported as an assembly factor which promotes the correct assembly and stability of mitochondrial Complex I (CI). Alterations of mitochondrial CI might cause tumorigenesis and metastasis, but it's molecular mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, we selected 145 cases of colorectal cancer for immunohistochemistry ...
متن کاملSIRT1 Expression Is Associated with Good Prognosis in Colorectal Cancer
BACKGROUND Silent mating type information regulation 2 homolog 1 (SIRT1), an NAD+-dependent deacetylase, might act as a tumor promoter by inhibiting p53, but may also as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting several oncogenes such as β-catenin and survivin. Deleted in breast cancer 1 (DBC1) is known as a negative regulator of SIRT1. METHODS Immunohistochemical expressions of SIRT1, DBC1, β-catenin...
متن کاملStudy of FGF14 gene expression and cancer progression in colorectal cancer tissue samples
Background: Colorectal cancer is one of the main causes of cancer death and the third most common malignant cancer worldwide. FGF14 is a member of the large family of fibroblast growth factors. These factors control a wide range of biological functions, including cell proliferation, survival, migration and differentiation that disturbing their expression can lead to cancer. The purpose of this ...
